Alicia Durán Medina

Hello, I'm the person behind the Alera universe, a passionate and creative visual designer, illustrator, and art director of Afro-Dominican descent with a special focus on emotional design, conscious design and brands. My primary goal is to use my talent and experience to create meaningful and memorable visual experiences that deeply connect with the audience.

I believe that a brand can reach strong influences on people's minds, hearts, and the earth, and it's up to us to make those influences positive.

Graduated in Interior Design at the APEC University, Fashion Marketing, Lettering, Branding and Textile Design in Altos de Chavón, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with a specialty in social leadership, called Change Agents at the German Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Foundation, Graphic Design at the Barreira School of Design, and a master’s degree in engineering design at the Polytechnic University in Valencia, Spain.
